Let's take a ride!

Big Red can carry up to 48 passengers, with comfy seating and tables. She also tows a mobile chiller and barbecue unit! Wherever you like, we can stop and stoke up the barbie!

Whether it's a staff outing, a sight-seeing trip, or a visit to the vines, we can show you the Bay as you've never seen it before!

Remember - its not where you're going its how you get there!!!!

Our Rules:

1. The 1st rule is no rules against eating and drinking :)

2. Have fun - no looking at the back of someone's head! We sit around what can best be described as our mobile kitchen tables - take in the scenery and smiling faces!

3. We'll always have a good supply of Hawke's Bay wines and nibbly treats.

4. If we see somewhere cool to stop for a BBQ - we stop - we cook - we eat!

5. If someone wants to play the ukulele or sing we pass them the microphone.

6. If you have a dream we'll try to make it happen.

Vintage in the Vines - It's All About Taste Buds in the Bay!

This is where our vintage big red heads out in search of the big red vintage! From Napier we head out through our uniquely diverse growing region. Our journey is planned around premium wines and stunning countryside. It's not all sitting around drinking and eating though - there'll be the odd stroll around a winery or two with an opportunity to fill your platters with fine cheeses, olives and other delicious condiments. Then we'll find a shady spot, fire up the BBQ and throw on a few home made bangers.

Prefer the excitement of places remote and unknown? Come along on our Country Kitchen Tour. This journey takes us out to some of our stately Heritage Homes, connects us to the "Aunt Daisys" and their home made treats... tea and scones and just maybe a cold ale in a country hotel.

The Bay is the home of the Homestead. We set out to discover those Stately Edwardian and Victorian homes and their magnificent gardens. This is where our British Heritage Vehicle meets our Colonial Heritage Homes.
